I would like to thank the Black Author Showcase for allowing its poets time to share their pieces this past week. I enjoyed my time with talented artists such as: Usiku, Juanita Betts, Veola Carter, Jill, Sherryle, Stafford Battle,  Eric and Alicia. I read my piece from the Voices of South Central, “I Dream of Freedom”. I felt our host Diane did a great job keeping us in line and it was great connecting with these great people. I know we’ll do it again.
